Prince William has been bombarding former Spice Girl Mel C with calls in a bid to reunite the band for next month’s Diana memorial concert.
Mel, 33, yesterday admitted the five plan a get-together but refused to say if it would be for the show organised by Wills and brother Harry.
That is despite hunky William using all his powers of persuasion as he aims to make his mum’s gig the year’s best.
The Girls plan to base their reunion around a track called Woman, from Geri Halliwell, 34, to be released as a single.
Mel said: “I have been in contact with the others – we hope to meet next month.
Everyone is asking me about us reuniting for this Greatest Hits gig, which we may be working towards.”
Wills, 24, and Harry, 22, said Princess Diana would be “amazed” they have organised the concert. Harry told Radio Times: “She would have been surprised we managed to organise something without arguing!”
Wills is said to be hoping for his own reunion with old flame Kate Middleton, 25, at the gig in London’s Hyde Park on July 1.
lloaded William will rake in up to £300,000 a year more after he turns 25 on Thursday – interest on the sum Diana left him in her £13million will.
