David Hasselhoff: 'Custody Victory Is Bittersweet'

HOLLYWOOD - David Hasselhoff has called his recent custody victory "bittersweet" because it means his ex-wife had to lose.

The actor won a court decision in Los Angeles last week giving him full and physical custody of his teenage daughters.

His ex-wife, Pamela Bach, can now only see her kids on alternate weekends and on Wednesday nights for dinner.

But despite his victory, Hasselhoff admits he's not exactly celebrating.

This morning he told Los Angeles radio-show host Ryan Seacrest, "It was a bittersweet victory more than anything because my kids just want to move on. They love their mom, they love their dad; they just wanna get it over with..."

Hasselhoff is pleased that a leaked videotape featuring footage of the inebriated star slurring a rant at his daughter didn't affect the outcome of the custody battle.

He adds, "That wasn't supposed to come out; that was a private moment... that happens in anyone's life.

"That should never been exploited like that, especially when your children are involved."

Bach, who returns to court today to fight on, fired her attorney Debra Opri yesterday.
