Additionally, Paula Marshall is set to appear next season in four episodes of the plastic surgery drama, playing the love interest of Sean McNamara (Walsh). Production on the new season began Monday.
Walsh and McMahon, who plays Christian Troy, are understood to have each received seven-figure bonuses in addition to the standard 5 percent yearly salary increase, which brings their total compensation up to about $3 million, or about $125,000 for each of the 22 episodes of Nip/Tuck's upcoming season. That makes for a 25% per-episode fee increase compared with what the two were paid for Season 4.
FX declined comment Tuesday, as did the actors' representatives. Nip/Tuck had a strong fourth season, capped by McNamara and Troy's move from Miami to Los Angeles in the season finale.
Marshall's recent series credits include the CW's Veronica Mars and CBS' Out of Practice. She next appears in the feature I Know Who Killed Me. She starred in David E. Kelley's short-lived detective series Snoops, and appeared on a Seinfeld episode as a college reporter convinced that Jerry and George were lovers.
