Lance Bass Joins Broadway 'Hairspray' Cast

HOLLYWOOD - Former 'N Sync star Lance Bass is set to star in the Broadway production of Hairspray.

Bass' casting in the camp musical comes just weeks before the film version of Hairspray--starring John Travolta and Christopher Walken--hits theaters.

The gay singer will play TV dance-show host Corny Collins in the production at the Neil Simon Theater beginning Aug. 14.
