Show regular Eric Mabius revealed last month producers were keen to get the singer-turned-designer on board for at least one episode.
He said, "We can see her fitting in as a cameo now [that] she is about to be big in the U.S."
And Beckham, who arrived in Los Angeles last week, is just as interested.
Despite admitting she's a terrible actor, she is confident her real-life part wouldn't take much work to perfect: "I'm seriously considering it. I'd be playing myself... and would get to wear fabulous outfits so it wouldn't be acting."
