The jury reached their verdict on Wednesday at Brighton Magistrates Court.
Paul McCartney's estranged wife told them the 32-year-old grabbed her shoulder as he attempted to take her photo in a Brighton, England, subway in July 2006.
The photographer had denied two charges of common assault. He claimed time codes on the photos taken on the day of the alleged attack did not support Mills' story, giving him just two seconds to run towards her to grab her, before running back to take another image.
