Don Cheadle Wants to Make a Film on Darfur Crisis

Don Cheadle

HOLLYWOOD - Oscar-nominated actor Don Cheadle wants to make a film focusing on the atrocities in Darfur.

The actor, who starred in Hotel Rwanda, which chronicled events of the 1994 genocide, is hoping he can raise similar awareness on the conflict in Sudan's Darfur region.

The Ocean's 13 star says, "There's millions of stories that come of that area, from the extremely dramatic to the heart warming. So if the right script came along, I'd be interested."
