The former Bond girl filed for divorce from Sheen in 2005 after a turbulent marriage--but she insists she is thrilled with the news.
Richards--who has two daughters with the actor--says, "I am genuinely happy for the two of them. In fact, I sent them flowers to congratulate them both. I've spent time with her, and my girls really like her. That's all that matters to me."
Sheen and Mueller--a real estate agent--announced their engagement on Tuesday.
Richards split with her last boyfriend, rocker Richie Sambora, earlier this year.
