The troubled star entered Promises rehab facility in Malibu, California, on Monday, two days after being charged with driving under the influence.
Michael believes his former wife must agree to reunite to help Lindsay through her recovery--and has organized a meeting through Dina's lawyer, John DiMascio, to discuss their child's needs.
He tells the New York Post, "I reached out because we have to put our differences aside and do what's best for Lindsay.
"She's all that matters. If Dina would just get on my page we can be there for Lindsay together. I want to be there for Lindsay, and I can't be stonewalled anymore. This kid needs some real help."
