The actor, 44, has been banned from filming at the country's military bases because he's a Scientologist.
'They will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult,' a Defence Ministry spokesman tells the Daily Express.
Tom's spokesperson wasn't available for comment.
Looks like it's Mission Impossible for Tom.
