Jordan’s a work of art

SHE’S always looked picture perfect, but now Jordan is set to be turned into a real piece of art by shark-pickling legend Damien Hirst.

We’ve had a sneak tip-off that his next exhibition is going to be themed around the nature of fame and reality.

And we’ve been told that he wants the pregnant mum-of-two and her husband Peter Andre to pose for a sculpture that will aim to represent modern celebrity.

Our spy with the easel told us: "Damien is thinking of producing an exhibition that tells us something about reality and fame.

"It’s a very visual subject, especially when you consider the augmentation that most stars go through to achieve a level of fame and perfection. We hear he wants to ask Jordan and Peter to pose and allow him to use their image, obviously because she had surgery to enlarge her breasts.

"But also because fame is such an integral part of their lives. Everything they’ve been through has been filmed – their wedding, their joy and even their rows."

Jordan – alias Kate Price, 29 – is tickled pink about the request because she was quite taken by Hirst’s recent pièce de résistance, a £50million diamond-encrusted skull.

Not a modern art lover, glamour puss Jord couldn’t help but be impressed by the bling bonce, called For the Love of God, and particularly its central pink diamond. But we’re pretty sure she doesn’t realise that she and Pete, 34, who is happily recovering from meningitis, are as likely to be pickled as covered in jewels.

Hirst, 41, has a rather famous fondness for preserving animals in formaldehyde. His current exhibition, which opened yesterday at London’s White Cube gallery, features pickled sheep and a tiger shark split open so you can walk through it.

"It’s not known what Damien is planning to do with them," our mole continued. "But it won’t be glamorous. He likes to turn things on their heads."

Quite literally, in a tub of chemical compound. We can’t wait.
