Lohan was released from Promises rehab center in Malibu, California, on July 13 and was spotted partying with pals in Las Vegas just days later.
When Lohan checked into rehab in June, producers on Poor Things agreed to delay filming on the movie until the 21-year-old had completed treatment.
However, following Lohan's recent socializing and her well-publicized actions on the set of Bobby and Georgia Rule last year, the film's producers are concerned about the actress' behavior.
The New York Post's gossip column PageSix reports set designer Fontaine Beauchamp Hebb has e-mailed product vendors to tell them the movie isn't happening.
The e-mail reads, "Poor Things has been cancelled. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but I just received a call from Jacky Gilardi, the producer, pulling the plug on the ill-fated film.
"Apparently, Ms. Lohan's antics in Las Vegas over the weekend have scared the bond companies and all of the funding has been pulled. I look forward to working together in the future and trust our next project will not be as fraught with difficulty."
