The hotel heiress was sent back to Los Angeles' Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California, on Friday to finish the 45-day sentence she began earlier this month--after a judge reversed the decision to allow her to complete the sentence under house arrest.
But despite being dragged out of the courthouse screaming, Hilton called Walters yesterday to promise an end to her attention-seeking "act."
She told The View star Walters, "I used to act dumb. That act is no longer cute. Now, I would like to make a difference. God has given me this new chance."
Walters is a longtime friend of Hilton's mother, Kathy.
