Christina Aguilera Stays Quiet over Pregnancy Rumors

HOLLYWOOD - Christina Aguilera has fuelled reports that she is expecting her first child, after her spokesperson declined to deny she is pregnant.

Earlier this week, entertainment Web site TMZ.com reported Aguilera and her husband, Jordan Bratman, visited the Maternal Fetal Medicine Association in New York City last Thursday.

When asked to confirm or deny the reports, the "Genie in a Bottle" hitmaker's spokeswoman said, "I cannot confirm (the reports)."

In February, Aguilera denied she was pregnant, but sources claim she is only in the early stages of pregnancy now.

Aguilera, 26, wed marketing manager Jordan Bratman in November 2005 after dating for three years.

Last year, she admitted, "We'd absolutely like to have kids one day. We're both family people. Jordan is from a big Jewish family, so taking care of each other is a big deal."
