UGK Rules Album Chart, Kingston Still King Of Singles

NEW YORK, NY (August 16, 2007) -- Veteran hip hop duo UGK top the Billboard 200 album chart this week with the debut of their latest release, "Underground Kingz." The album, which sold 159,975 copies, marks the first time at # 1 for the group and its members, Bun B and Pimp C.

With their first new album in five years, and a previous charting best at # 18, UGK's return is a triumphant one.

Plies takes the # 2 spot this week with his debut album, "The Real Testament." Fueled by the growing success of the single, "Shawty" (featuring T-Pain), the rapper moved 96,469 copies of the album upon its release.

Despite a 30% decrease in sales from last week, The NOW 25 hits collection remains at # 3 with 86,410 copies sold.

Miley Cyrus also suffered a slight sales dip with "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus," but the teen sensation actually climbed back up a spot on the chart, coming in at # 4.

Pop-rock group Jonas Brothers hit # 5 with the debut of their self-titled second album, which has the distinction of being the first disc released in the CDVU+ format. The album's packaging is made of 100% recycled paper, and the CD itself reveals photos, lyrics and liner notes when inserted in a computer.

Music Video: Sean Kingston: 'Beautiful Girls'

Jonas Brothers just managed to squeak by the "Hairspray" motion picture soundtrack, which fell two spots to become this week's # 6 entry.

Common's "Finding Forever" falls from the top spot to land at # 7, while Fergie's "The Dutchess" climbs up a notch to come in at # 8.

T.I. loses a bit of ground this week, falling one spot to land at # 9, while Korn takes a steeper plunge to # 10 after debuting in 2nd place last week.

On the Hot Downloaded Singles chart, Sean Kingston proves he's got staying power with "Beautiful Girls." The smash summer hit from the 17-year-old rising star takes the top spot for the third straight week. Kingston also cracks the Top 10 with a second single, "Me Love," coming in at # 6.

Rihanna also continues to have two songs in the Top 10, with "Shut Up and Drive" remaining at # 9 and "Umbrella" (featuring Jay-Z) falling four spots to # 10.
