NDON, England (August 16, 2007) – Amy Winehouse may not want to go to rehab, but getting herself back to good health appears to be a different story.The British songstress has canceled her upcoming August shows, due to concerns for her health.
A rep for Winehouse released the following statement to Access Hollywood:
"Amy Winehouse is putting all her touring commitments for this month on hold until further notice in order to address her health issues. Amy will now not be performing at this weekend’s V Festival in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. Her family has requested that the media respect Amy’s privacy at this time. There will be no further comment."
The tattooed pop party girl was hospitalized last week due to "severe exhaustion."
She is scheduled to begin the North American leg of her tour in September.
