Lucky for Shakira, she now has a new pal to lean on when the going gets tough...
The Colombian singer has reportedly struck up a new friendship with Angelina Jolie, the Daily Express reports.
The two bonded while working for various charities for children.
Said a source close to the actress: "They have so much in common, we can't believe they didn't become buddies sooner.
"Shakira loves kids and runs a children's charity in her home country, so they have been swapping tips on fundraising."
Shakira is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations' Children's Fund (Unicef), as well as her own children's foundation in Colombia.
Ange is a goodwill ambassador for the organization's Refugee Agency and has set up several charity funds in her adoptive children's native countries.
