The heiress is set to appear at a hearing in Los Angeles this afternoon. She's accused of violating her probation on an alcohol-related reckless driving charge.
In February, Hilton was pulled over by cops who discovered she was driving with a suspended license.
Her publicist, Elliot Mintz, insists neither he nor his client was aware the license had been suspended following her arrest last year.
Prosecutors have asked a judge to make an example of the socialite and sentence her to 45 days in jail.
Hilton has announced she plans to stage a press conference after her day in court this afternoon.
