The actor started dating Joyner in 2005 after reportedly spotting her gardening while walking past her Hollywood home.
The couple sold the two homes they owned last year and moved in together.
And now they're making plans to become man and wife.
Cryer says, "It'll be a small ceremony. There will be fireworks. I'm excited about it."
Cryer, 42, split up with his first wife, actress Sarah Trigger, in 2004. The couple has a son, Charlie, who is six.
